Getting there

The Road to Playground in Kahnawake

An evening at a Playground poker table starts on the road from Montréal. Below are the two ways there, car or metro and bus, and what to do with the car.

By car

Over the Honoré-Mercier Bridge

From Montréal, the drive crosses the Honoré-Mercier Bridge and continues along Route 138. Playground puts the trip at 20 minutes from downtown Montréal by car. Set the GPS to 1500 Route 138, Kahnawake, QC J0L 1B0, in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke. Questions before leaving can go to (450) 635-7653 or, toll-free, 1-855-685-7653.

Once you arrive, leaving the car costs nothing. You can use the self-park lot or hand the keys to the valet, and neither carries a charge. If you are coming by bus instead, the next section covers the route.

By metro and bus

The Green Line and the exo Bus

Without a car, take the Green Line to Angrignon, the last station on the line. There, board exo bus 31 or 32 heading for Châteauguay. Get off at the Playground stop.

The next question is usually the ride home. Playground does not close: the building and its poker tables run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That leaves no closing time to end the evening for you. Before setting out, check how the return trip works at the hour you expect to leave.

Staying the Night

Playground has no hotel of its own. For guests who want to stay over, it points to the Host Hotel at 1800 RTW 132 in Kahnawake, 5 minutes away. A room nearby can replace a late drive back over the Honoré-Mercier Bridge or a late search for a bus. Since the poker room runs all night, it helps to settle the night's plans before the first hand.
